About Clare

An amalgam of art, culture, literature and ideas, Clare Market Review is the oldest student-run journal in the UK, having been produced at LSE since 1905. It was a labour of love by Sidney and Beatrice Webb, founders of the LSE.

After fading in and out of existence for the past decade, it was once again reinvented in October 2017. Now, it publishes three issues per year from its home, the media centre in the LSESU building. On this website, you can find past publications and contact details, so that you can submit your own art and see it appear in a future issue of Clare.
